I'm simulating a model of a towboat on a reducted scale with free surface. I'm using VOF model and the Wall y+ is between 1 and 3.

The problem is a large region of the hull in contact with water that has 50% of air. I am thinking this very strange and i don't have any cause for this event.

The attachment is a figure that represents the height of free surface, therefore there are cells on prism layer of the hull that contains 50% of air.
