I'm a student working on a project involving combustion simulation, and I'd like to try running some tests with a PPDF flamelet model and a progress variable model. STAR-CCM's documentation says that these require the DARS tool to generate the required tables, and the only references I can find to the DARS tool are quite vague but seem to be saying that it's a separate piece of software included with the STAR-CCM+ license. Unfortunately, I can't find DARS on the computer I'm using.

Have I missed something obvious, or should I just get in touch with the licenseholder to pass my question on to support?

Just in case someone in the future finds this thread and has the same question:
  • Yes, DARS Basic is a separate piece of software. I eventually figured that out by reading a bunch of articles on CD-Adapco's Steve portal.
  • I'm not sure if it needs a separate license - CD-Adapco finally finished processing my request for an academic license, which seems to include DARS Basic. Was able to download it from the usual Downloads page.
