djordje8 is on a distinguished road
Hello,

My domain is 600 m tall and I have 3 grids (4.03 mill, 4.75 mill, 5.74 mill cells). If I create a presentation grid with 21 points in the vertical direction, then the highest point on the 4.75 mill cells grid is at 586.96 m, while the highest point on the 4.03 mill cells grid is at 600 m.

So, independently of what I am using to measure the distance from the bottom (Position(z), WallDinstance, or Centroid), I always get that the heights are dependent on the grid. Therefore, how can I do the grid independence test if I collect velocity data that are not at the same heights? In the previous example, I would compare velocity at 586.96 m against velocity at 600 m!

Please could you help me with this? Does anybody else have a similar problem?

Thank you,
Djordje
