How to plot 3D visualization of instantaneous coherent structure around a pier
 

Hello all,

I'm modeling the turbulent structures around a bridge pier using the DES transient model. In STAR-CCM+, is it applicable to generate the 3D visualization plot of the instantaneous coherent structures around the pier, as the attached picture shows? Thanks in advance.

In the STAR-CCM+ User guide, I find that the "Vorticity Confinement Model" seems relevant to my problem. Generally it says to track the isolated vortices along distance, first choose the Vorticity Confinement Model in Physics, then create a Scalar Scene and plot the field function "Vorticity Confinement Non-Dimensional Wall-Distance" on the parts of interest. But I don't have such a field function available for me to choose from. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I am wondering if you could be able to find the user-defined function for "Vorticity Confinement Non-Dimensional Wall-Distance" and "Vorticity Confinement Specific Force". I am currently using VC model and to set an appropriate value for cutoff, I need to have the field function. Please if you have the code, send it to me.
