Hi all.

I want to specify degassing boundary which acts as a wall for water, and as a outlet for air, so only air can leave through it.

But I'm using VOF model, not dispersed model, so I cannot use permeable wall.
I should use wall porosity.

In this case, how should I specify relevant models?

I added wall porosity model in water phase, and specified numbers as follows.
porous inertial resistance = 1000000
porous viscous resistance = 100000
But scalar scene of velocity seems that air does not go through the wall.

Did I do incorrectly?
Any comment will be appreciated.

Thank you.

I think wall porosity model should be added to the air phase, not the water phase.
If it is, then how can I decide the values?

Thank you.

I could be wrong, but I thought the porosity setting was only used for heat transfer. (setting % of solid vs fluid).

Then how can I set a degassing boundary condition with VOF model?

Thank you.
