Hi everybody,
I'm simulating a radiator duct for a formula student race car. It's some time that i use the same steps to mesh and simulate different ducts with radiator as a porous region. But with the last one i had this issue after i click run: Error, selected Part does not belong to available Continuum/Insufficient Part(s) Selected Command: RunSimulation error: Server Error Continuum seems to be ok. I really dont know what can i do. |

I had some similar errors when using multipart solid continua with the meshing pipeline. After I would change a 3D-CAD parameter, then regenerate the mesh, then click run, I would get a similar error (since the part is used in the region to define the part group). I could not figure it out, and in the end I changed my model to use 5 physics continua, each with their own solid properties, rather than using the multipart solid. That solved my issue.
I'm not sure how you've got your sim setup (how many continua, how many regions, etc), but it's possible that if a region is getting information from a part (like mine w/ MPS was), then the link may have been broken. Can you provide more information about your simulation? |
