Hi i'm doing sloshing in a rectangular tank with bulkheads or vertical screen at the centre. It is for my academic project. Can i check how to produce a vector scene showing the vortex at the screen area for the partially filled tank of the liquid motion?
The one in my attachment is showing the vorticity of the air. I cannot seems to choose the function for the velocity of water(H20). Can someone help me please. Thanks and much appreciate. |

I guess you're using VOF model so you've got a single Velocity field for both water and air.
So - you can define Vector Field Function like [${VolumeFractionWater}*$${Velocity}[0], ${VolumeFractionWater}*$${Velocity}[1],${VolumeFractionWater}*$${Velocity}[2]] and plot it - it will show velocity only in volume where water is present (i.e. it's volume fraction > 0). I'm a rare guest on the forum. Got questions? - Skype: cwl.net |
