Hello,

I am using star ccm+ to calculate heave and pitch motions of a catamaran. The output plot is in time series. But, my teacher wants it in frequency series. I.e., I need to plot heave RAO and pitch RAO v/s encounter frequency. Can anybody help me with on as to how to proceed with this?

You can perform a fast Fourier transform (FFT) on your data to convert from time domain to frequency domain. I believe that Star-CCM has an FFT option although I have never used it. You can also export your time domain data and transform it outside Star if necessary.
