1)There is a concentric hollow pipe.
2)I need to model a standard Ice at -10*C and a fluid (water) flowing at 0.01m/s having temperature of 100*C. 3)The length of the pipe is 1m, outer dia 10cm and inner dia 5cm and the outer pipe volume is where ice is frozen in the entire domain where as in the inner pipe the flow of water is happening. How to model this problem, I am new to the software if someone has modeled or having a used case or can help me in this by attaching .sim file for the problem with the case setup. I would be indebted. I have some idea that how to do this in FLUENT. A case setup for this simple example case would really be appreciated. Kindly guide. |

A tutorial from the User Guide should be helpful: Tutorials -> Multiphase Flow -> VOF: Melting-Solidification, page ~ 9537.

Hi,
Can someone here please help me with a dummy setup for this problem. I will run at my end and do the necessary changes. Or please mention the steps with specific names in the software as I have posted I am little new to this software package. |
