Hi everyone,
This is Wu speaking, and I major in CFD field for a few years. Recently, our company is evaluating kinds of optimum packages. As you know, after the whole computation procedures, only 1 format file .sim exsists finally. How can I probe this exsiting file to do further operations, like output or modify several parameters ? Should I code a script for it or something? Thanks for your kindly instructions~ |

If you want a STAR CCM+ file to go through certain functions, you may want to write JAVA macros for that.
Once good way to start off is while doing an operation in STAR CCM+, try File > Macro > Start Recording ..., This will record all the commands that are being executed as you are working on the file and you can later save this as a JAVA file. Studying this can give you a good idea of how to issue commands and how to create functions to run certain set of commands. hope this helps ... |
