Vista Client - Linux Server Connectivity Issue
I recently switched to Vista from XP at my client machine, while server is Linux. Problem is that vista client GUI is not connecting to server, although it shows the server with open simulation file.
Simulations can be opened and run at local vista machine independently. (it can access the license file, which is at server) Thanks in advance for giving help to sort this problem out ! |
It is most likely vista blocking the necessary ports. CCM+ connects over three or four random ports, so you cannot just tunnel one. The client machine needs complete access to the server machine, without any sort of firewall.

Same thing happened here, port blocking is usually the cause
