Importing new design in starCCM

Hi,

StarCCM user manual isnt very clear on this. (under representations the option import surface).
Case:
All the designs are done in a CAD package (siemens NX)
I have run a simulation on design_A (imported the starting surface from CAD in parasolid format).
Is there a way i can import my design_B.parasolid (it has minor geometry changes) into starCCM without having to recreate every BC and physics setup?

I know of dbs mesh type, but how can i create such a database with starCCM? do i need to create a new file, import parasolid, mesh and export it as dbs and then import in this original sim? how can i include multiple meshes in this dbs file?

And is it preferred to make a database of volumemeshes, remeshed surfaces or import surfaces? I guess it is recommended to use the exact same names for the BC's?

The whole final idea is to have a number of design in 1 sim file, with exact same settings for BC's and physics. But have different scenes for every geometry next to each other. are there any good tutorials on this because the helpfiles are no big help at all
