hi friends i am new guy for the cfd . I have a doubt? How to calculate time step and physical time in star ccm

Hi,

Your time step and physical time are your inputs of your problem.
I don't really understand your question.

As far as I know it isn't possible to calculate it for any problem.
For stream problems you can use the courant number - there you know your time-step.
The time you know because of your velocity there.
How it is on heat transfer problem I don't know.
