Hi,

Is it possible to create a C-Grid in starccm+? If not, is there any free software I could use to do this (unlikely, I know)?

Thanks in advance,

Al

1. It probably is not necessary, just use a bunch of prism layers.

2. If you have a Prostar license you could build it there.

3. You could use blockmesh, which is free and part of the OpenFOAM package. There is no GUI.

Thanks Kyle.

I have been trying to use prism layers, but I find that there is a limit on how thick I can get them. I keep increasing the prism layer thickness value but don't see an increase in the thickness. Any ideas why this might be?

I took a look at OpenFOAM, but it didn't look particularly friendly...
