madcfd is on a distinguished road
i want to model cavitation and the associated schock waves due to collapse of the vapour region.

I have a nozzle which has a small aperture (width 0.25 mm) through which water exits leading to cavitation. The water at pressure 600 bar is at the inlet.i am using implicit unsteady model for 1ms.

I want to discuss about the following topics about this modeling and simulation.

1. Can somebody give suggestions for modeling methodology for the simulations

2. Since the pressure is too high, how to give this high pressure boundary condition.
Can i ramp it into steps ?

3. which is the best turbulence model to use ?
