Prism with anisotropic trimmed mesh

Hello,
The problem is as follows. I have defined volumetric refinement controls that result in an anisotropic trimmed hexa mesh. When combined with the prism mesher Star CCM+ converts the near body (inside the prism layer) into an isotropic refinement leading to a significant increase in mesh size. Is there a way to force StarCCM+ to keep the anisotropic cells in the prism layer?

Thank you in advance
Chris

I have come to the conclusion that it is impossible and CD Adapco seem to think it is not necessary to have this capability.

I bet the windturbine people find it very annoying but then again structured meshes are better
