downstream pressure?

hello everyone,

I am new with Star-CCM+. Is it possible to simulate the downsteam pressure with upstream pressure boundary? The pressureat the outlet is unknown. If it can, how should i set boundary conditions?

thanks, CoG

If the flow is outwardly directed but the conditions are unknown, then 'outlet' conditions should be applied.

If there is only one outlet then u can go for flow split boundary condition with flow split ratio 1
