unsteady external force
 
I'm a long time CFD user but just recently switched over to STAR-CCM+ for this particular project. I need to evaluate it's response to an external force, however, this force is unsteady. I have a discrete time-history or I can parametrize it as a function.

Can STAR-CCM+ handle an unsteady function in the force vector? How do I specify it, I haven't noticed any ability to include UDFs like in CFX or Fluent?

Haven't actually done it, but looks like the capability is there. You should be able to reference a user field function in the direction and position fields of the force vector properties.
