krishna086 is on a distinguished road
hi friends,

i am working with a very complicated combustor geometry; when i try importing the geometry into starccm, in x_t format, this is what i get ,

Error during CAD import: Parasolid function PK_TOPOL_facet_2 failed.
Error token = PK_ERROR_memory_full
Error code = 901
Severity = serious

does anyone understand the meaning of this error?? all i understand is that the geometry has numerous bad faces which i observed from solidworks; but its very difficult to really make the whole geometry again!!!

even if i try importing it as a CAD i will have to convert it into a geometry part; but it is not allowing me to do that

please help asap.

thanks,
