Passive Scalars

Hello,
I'm modeling CO2 diffusion in water. I was suggested to use passive scalars. I don't know how to set the value of the scalars. Can anyone help me with this?

The passive scalar can represent any quantity you want. It's very generic. In your case, it can represent the concentration of CO2. So, if you want, you can normalize so your inlet concentration is 1.0, and your downstream is 0.0. Then the passive scalar will take on a value between 0.0 and 1.0. Or you can provide the quantity in some set of units like Molar.
