Hello,
read the manual. There is already how to setup DFBI model (step-by-step). B. |

And which version are you using? I assume version 5. There is relatively big difference between v.4 and v.5 but if you have manual it should not be problem.
I can send you page number if you tell me which version you have. B. |

I found video tutorial from CD-Adapco where is shown how to setup DFBI simulation in v4.xx. I don't know where exactly is stored on their web site but I downloaded it as swf file so I can upload it to some file storage server if you want.

There was a change on the setup of DFBI models between v4.xx and v5.xx, so it's likeley there are some differences.

The DFBI tutorial is available in 4.06
Help > Training Guide > Dynamic Fluid Body Interaction Tutorial > Boat in Head Waves Tutorial. the demo file is in C:\Program Files (x86)\CD-adapco\STAR-CCM+ 4.06.011\doc\tutorials\dfbi\boatInHeadWaves if its in the default location, but may be in "Program Files" instead of "..(x86)" depending on your installation.
