Rotor stator with STAR-CCM+
 

Hy to all,
I am quite new to Star-CCM+. I have to simulate a simply 2D axial rotor/stator System.
Assume the mesh as a rectangule with vertex named ABCD:
AB rotor side
BC atm pressure
CD stator side
DA axis.

I have set the boundary condition basically setting on AB tangential velocity speed around DA but acutally nothing happend.

How can I make it?Is there any particular option to be set?

you have to divide domain into two fluids in gambit (or any other mesh generation software ) and need to create the interface on that boundary

hii, I need help for Cantrifuge axial compressor. How I can creat 3d part in Starcc+? I have 11 stator and 11 rotor and cover them. how I can creat and transfer in region to definede bounderies.?
