Meshing issues with StarCCM+

:confused::confused:

Hello,

I am encountering issues with meshing on adjacent boundaries of a same region.
Surface meshing generates non-matching topologies at edges, ie vertices of one face don't match those on the adjacent face.
Yet, at the import of the CAD, surfaces were perfectly jointed, edge-to-edge.

And so, because of that, volumetric meshing is impossible !
Can someone tell me what can lead to this problem.

Thank you. :)

Open a region scene that shows your geometry. Then:
Under Representations, right click Initial Mesh and click Repair. Disable the bottom two options (Face quality, face proxmity) and hit OK.

Check to see if you have any errosr, especially Free edges (will show up as green). If so, you may need to fix these either manually or by working on your import settings (tessellation, etc)

Thank you for your answer !
This kind of manipulation has already been tried without any success.
Solution has just been found this morning. Actually, the computation needed interfaces that had been defined before the mesh was applied.
We deleted these interfaces, meshed the domain and then (and only) interfaces were defined.
A computation has even been carried out ! It works fine.
But even thank you for your help :)
