VOF and DBFI can be used in very coarse mesh (eg 50k cells is feasible to check everything is working - runs very fast) - just reduces the accuracy and ability to capture the waves. Check all you settings compared to the boat DFBI tutorial in the Help - it is very easy to miss one of the steps or settings.

On the start page of your help, you will find a tutorials section (nearly at the bottom) where you should find a dynamic fluid body interaction node. The boat in head waves tutorial is a sub-node of dfbi.
All files necessary to run the tutorials are also provided with the ccm+ installation. Just open the installation folder and click through some folders - you will find it for sure. |
