Export plane section data to Tepclot or csv

Hi guys,

how can I export just the data of a section plane to tecplot 2d contour plot or a csv File.

Following would be best:

Coordinates X Y Z, Static Pressure, Total Pressure, etc...

I tried it with a XYZ Table and exported it as a csv Table. When I try to import this to tecplot it always offers a XY Plot. I just want to get a Contour plot, not a XY Plot. If I select a contour plot tecplots shows no contour. It must have to do something with my input data. You can find an csv example in the following:

The example you show: is this what you want to obtain? Or is it what you have, and you want to convert this to some other format?

CSV stands for Comma-Separated Values. The values in your example aren't separated by commas, but by space delimiters, so technically it isn't really CSV.

The example is what I have. The comma is for tecplot not necessary, but of course you´re also right, the comma is the usual seperator in a csv file

Contour plots in Tecplot

One can make a contour plot in Tecplot only after the program is informed of the connectivity of the data. In other words -- for you the variables X, Y, and Z have a spatial relationship (and the other variables have different meanings), but Tecplot does not assume a relationship between the data, and therefore it must be informed of the spatial relationship (or connectivity) between X,Y, and Z.
