how do I fix this problem?

After generating a volume mesh, most of the mesh is fine except for this region between the two surfaces that are close together. Obviously the mesh does not look smooth and is messed up. Why does it do this, and how do I fix it? I'm new so I am not sure, but I was thinking it might have something to do with surface proximity? I played around with that but did not get any good results.

1. Refine the mesh in this area
2. Check prism layer settings

Let us know if it helps

Hi,

Check the mesh parameters, I mean, edge length and growth factors...there are lot of unmatched verticies in your mesh

Trimmer mesh is a requirement? Why not try poly?
