I'm trying to get wall shear stresses at specific locations on a cylinder. So I created a local cyclindrical coordinate system in the center of the cylinder. It would be best if I could specify the measurement points in a .vtk file and then use it to make an arbitrary probe, but it seems to me that the arbitrary probe only uses the global coordinates. Is there any way I could forgo having to convert my simple cylindrical coordinates to global ones? Can I choose a different coordinate system when making a .vtk file?
