Moynul1 is on a distinguished road
How could i create a mesh whereby two different locations have different mesh sizes one being very fine the other coarse in the same body ? locations being very specific splitting regions will not suffice any help would be greatly appreciated

I would use volumetric controls.
How to use them is well described in the user guide.

try this go to regions>> mesh value>> contact prevention>> select the required region, then refine it by the desired value
