Hi,

I did searching all over and could never come up with anything, and I don't see any tutorials that cover it.

How do you simulate intake valves opening and closing in an intake manifold (thus, on a 3 cylinder, 2 outlets being blocked off at one time and only 1 being open) Do you have to set it up in something like Pro/E Mechanism first and then bring it in?

You should be able set it up directly in star right?

Thanks in advance.

For moving valve you should look at es-ice. It is a cd-adapco tool specifically designed to model internal combustion engines.

You should also be able to run it with mesh morphing and remeshing / mesh replacement.
