Stable LowRE model
I'm having difficulty obtaining a cleanly converged solution when for lowRe simulation. I've tried Standard k-e lowRe, AKN-k-e, and both of them produce answers that are quite oscillatory for all iteration counts. For the range of Re = 1e4-1e5, what are the reasonable turbulence models people use?
Usually oscillations are no issue but physical behaviour. There are just a few really steady flows, you can nearly count them with the fingers of your hands. Most physical problems are unsteady, especially for higher Reynolds numbers.
So I assume, your chosen turbulence model is fine and the oscillations are just because the sovler tries to solve the physics.
