in the inlet bc, there is an option called flow switch-velocity/mass flux what does that signify ?

thanks in advance

This option matters for compressible flow only. In this case STAR calculates your inlet mass flow rate basing upon velocity and density you've provided. During the calculations it keeps the mass flow rate constant, but this can be done in two ways: a) adjusting the density (Velocity option, i.e. provided velocity is kept constant); b) adjusting the velocity (Mass flux option, i.e. provided density is kept constant).
