cfdengineer is on a distinguished road
I have a series of film cooling holes that I would like to include an exit surface at each hole so to calculate mass flow and other variables. My mesh will include a prism layer along the film cooling tube wall and then on the outer and inner liner walls.I was told that this cannot be meshed using prosurf or proam. I would have to delete the interior surfaces in order to mesh everything. It would be extremely convenient if I can include this interior surface since the surface is curved. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how I could include interior surfaces that can be meshed in prostar and then proam. I will be using CFX for the CFD and can create local user surfaces, but that will require me to go into the CAD and get more information and that will take lots of time. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
