Hi I have completed the installation of star-cd 4.02 on window xp mode (virtual PC) in windows 7 ultimate, but when i started my Prostar, it gave this error:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
Checking license file: C:\Program Files\CD-adapco\STAR-CD\license\license.dat
Checking license file: C:\Program Files\CD-adapco\STAR-CD/license/license.dat
Failed to get all licenses needed for this job. Asked for 1 licenses of prostar|starsuite
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
however i did not have problem installing and using it in Windows XP os in my old dell laptop.

Please help!!!

Why don't you install it natively? Why use such an old version ? I have 4.16 installed and I'm not sure I am up to date.
