transient thermo-mechanical analysis of rotary friction welding
I am trying to model rotary friction welding using ANSYS 14.0, mechanical APDL, using two cylindrical pipes. In the analysis one of the cylinders is supposed to have a relative motion of 60 rpm with the other to produce frictional heating. But even after entering the rotational constraint there is no relative motion of the cylinder.
Can anyone please help?
