I have constructed a portal construction in Ansys 14.5. Why are my reaction forces changing when i change the element behaviour from quadratic to cubic?
I have a total force of 27000 [N] in the y-direction on my construction. When i use the cubic behaviour, the PRRSOL command says the total reaction forces in the y-direction are 27004 [N]. Can anyone explane to me why my reaction forces change when is use either cubic or quadratic element behaviour?

Hey roy, from my understanding the change is very small 0.015% and this may be only a round off error.
