Default Problem with distributed ansys mechanical sitting at zero load for hours

Has anyone come across the problem of distributed mechanical process seeming to pause at “Preparing the mathematical model…” with zero load and no network activity and stays there for hours ? There is enough physical memory.

Any hints ?
