soda can crush sample not working

I am working through the soda can crush sample problem using 14.0 and explicit dynamics. first error states that I need to turn on the beta feature to work the trajectory contact using distributed ANSYS. Did that. Then I get a general failure error. Not sure where to go next?

answered my own question. The core to the problem is a check box in tools. go to advanced and remove the check mark from "distributed solution". Whooda thunk it??
