Hi guys,
I am modeling a micropump chamber with ansys. I use shell281 element as the membrane and also the piezoelectric actuator. the diameter of actuator is less than membrane. the fluid domain is below the membrane with the same diameter. I defined the membrane shell as the solid-fluid interface. when I run my model, after the MFX solves structure part, when it comes to interface I get errors which are: *** ERROR *** CP = 1056.203 TIME= 13:33:23 There is not enough memory for the Sparse Matrix solver to proceed. This is likely due to the use of pivoting while factoring the matrix. Please increase the virtual memory on your system and/or increase the work space memory and rerun the program. Alternatively, using the BCSOPTION command to switch to a different memory mode and/or to specify additional memory for the solver may also help. The memory currently allocated for the Sparse Matrix solver = 139 MB. *** ERROR *** CP = 1056.203 TIME= 13:33:23 Bisection may be activated if it is a nonlinear analysis. *** WARNING *** CP = 1056.203 TIME= 13:33:24 The unconverged solution (identified as time 1.E-03 substep 999999) is output for analysis debug purposes. Results should not be used for any other purpose. Is it a problem from the contacts? Also there is this warning in my model: ********* WARNING ********* Within the current MFX simulation, unmapped vertices are present on the Fluid-Solid interface: FSI Please review the ANSYS.stdout file for further information. Default boundary conditions will be applied for these unmapped vertices, which implies "Unspecified" for Mesh Motion. To try a coupled mesh displacement instead, set the expert parameter: mfx unmapped bc option = 2 I would appreciate if you help me. thanks |
