Environment variable problem
I am having a problem that is most likely due to a basic mistake from my side, but I would really appreciate some help.
After installing SU2 I have added the environment variables to both system variables and user variables according to http://adl-public.stanford.edu/docs/...s+Installation. The variable is SU2_RUN and the Value is C:\SU2, which is the folder where all of my installation files are placed (no subfolders). When in the in Console and typing SU2_CFD inv_NACA0012.cfg I get the error "SU2_CFD is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file." Obviously I am missing something, and I have searched these folums and google trying to figure out what, but to no avail. Can anyone help me out? EDIT: Added C:\SU2 to the Path variable in environments as well and it works. Thanks, other thread. |
Hope for advice too!
I have met with the same problem. I guess maybe the computer cannot recognize what "SU2_CFD" is. Because the environment variable is named as SU2_RUN, and the executable path is also different from the .cfg file. The problem is how to use the executable command (SU2_CFD) to operate the .cfg and mesh files in another path. Hope for advice!
