Hi, I've just downloaded the binary version of SU2 to my Mac. The folder downloaded was called bin, I've gone through all the folders and files but can not seem to find what I need to do to open the software is there a read me file anywhere to get me started? I am as green as onions on this subject but would love to learn so if anyone has the time, could you please offer some guidance.

Thanks

Paul

Just watched the video in the link, was frustrated as the audio was continually interrupted even when I returned to the beginning and tried to wait for the stream to move ahead of the run.

After enduring this frustration, I find that my question was not even addressed! Thanks for wasting my time people I really needed to get some work done but instead, I listened to interrupted audio that did not really help to answer any of questions addressed.

Don't know if anyone else experienced the same issues

Sorry about your frustration... It must to be hard for you... Even more, when the video has not been recorded yet... As I said: "We will reply this post tomorrow Wednesday at 10:00am (PDT) in "This week in SU2". PDT means Pacific Daylight Time. So, we will do it today.

FYI (for your information), I would like let you know that in every video, before answering the questions, you can read the questions on the screen, and we reply the post with the exact minute when each question was replied. I hope this help to avoid future frustrations! :-)

Hi Francisco, I watched the video yesterday but it keeps breaking up on the audio and therefore I miss what it is your are telling me. I downloaded the latest version and found the QuickStart folder but the files inside won't open from any programs I have already installed on my computer.

What program is used to open a .cfg file or a .su2 file?

Thanks

.cfg and .su2 are ASCII files. In linux I like vi, emacs, or gedit. TextEdit or Aquamacs are my choices for Mac.

Cheers,
Francisco
