Hello everyone,
Could you tell me the meaning of rho,Sens_Geo and Sens_Mach? After completing the adjoint compute,I use the Tecplot software to ppen the results, there are many options including Diss_wish,PsiE,PsiRho,Psi_X?

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

The adjoint state contains variables that corresponds to each of the conserved variables in the flow problem, i.e. an Adjoint Density (PsiRho) corresponds to the fluid Density (Rho), etc. The Sens_Geo parameter is an integrated measure of the geometric sensitivity to a particular objective function on the entire surface of interest, which is similar to an integrated force coefficient in the flow problem, for instance. We often use this as part of the Cauchy criteria to evaluate convergence.

Hope this helps,
Tom
