su2 and paraview

hi, i have installed latest su2 from the source on a linux64bit machine yesterday. tried several test cases such as euler>naca0012, euler>bumpchannel, rans>onera etc. via paraview vtk output. the vtk files seems ok and not damaged. but paraview could not recognize and import these produced vtk files. i have also tried different version of paraview setups such as 3.x, 4.x both on 32bit and 64bit linux versions but failed. am i missing something?

Mmm… it is strange,
Could you please post one of those files?

Cheers,

I have run euler<naca0012
it worked well with paraview

thanks for the replies. i was on travel so a little late to response.

i have tested the same vtk output of the su2 on a win7 machine and paraview (4.0.1-x64) imported the data and worked correctly.

the problem seems related to my linux paraview setups but i could not find a solution yet. pre-built binary versions of paraview works but can not import any vtk file. maybe i have to compile it.

regards,
