DISCRETE optimization

Hi everyone

when I was looking for a good description about continuous adjoint formulation I found the dissertation of Dr Thomas D. economon really helpful (thanks in advance), now Im looking for a description for DISCRETE adjoint formulation which has been implemented in the code, esspecially which that developers was using??

I test the DISCRETE formulation for naca0012, rae2822 and onera m6. for all of them, the overall optimization give better results in compared to continuous formulation. (the only problem was that it needs 3 to 4 times more RAM compared to continuous)
