Dear Sir, can any one please explain how to plot stream lines in tecplot. ( i know if i have u and v velocites contours from that i can draw stream lines which is in 2d) actually i have u,v,w velocities in 3d. now i have to plot stream lines, but stream lines are 2d so i need to select a plane and plot stream lines , but i dont know how to select one plane and then plotting streamlines . so plz tell me... thanks in advance

with tool>animate>ijk plane you can select desired plane

what version of tecplot u use? what is your data type: structured grid or unstructured?
