Streamlines colored by velocity contours

This is probably a very trivial question but I am not able to figure it out by myself...how to create streamlines and color them by velocity contour values in Tecplot?

thank you

Streamlines colored by velocity contours

Perhaps the "trick" that you are not aware of is that the streamlines or streamtraces must have a volume before one can contour them.

So in the Streamtraces menu on the "Position" tab select "Volume Ribbon" or "Volume Rod" (and not "Volume Line"), and then in the "Rod/Ribbon" tab check "Show Contour Flood" and the variable that you want to flood by, i.e. velocity.

Hi Scott,

thank you for your reply.
I have just solved the problem in another way:

Under "Streamtrace Details" -> Line -> Line Color select Multi 1 in the bottom left corner of the window and it will color the streamlines with the selected contour variable.
