Hello all together

Since version 11 of FLOW-3D was published, it is not possible anymore to use Tecplot as a postprocessor. Why?
Did Flowscience change the file format to "force" users to use Flowsight?
It is a pity, because since I am working with the software, there was a major update. Before, I postprocessed the data with Tecplot - that is not possible anymore.

Any solutions? I would appreciate your help.
Best regards

Hi chripasch,

The data loader for Flow3D has been updated in the newest release of Tecplot 360 EX. http://www.tecplot.com/products/tecplot-360/

If you do not have access to the newest release I can add you to the beta group and you can test out the new loader.

Best

Durrell

Hej, thanks for that quick reply.

I am using Tecplot 360 2013, Release 1, Build 14.0.2.35002 at the moment.
It is published via my employer (a university) - like FLOW-3D, which I am using in version 11.0.1.03.

So, I did not hear about the new Tecplot version you mentioned, yet.
But if it would be possible to load the FLOW-3D of the newest version (v11) into Tecplot again, I woould appreciate if you could include me to the people who can test it OR just tell me if the Tecplot version 360 EX is already publishes officially. Then I could get it from my employer, I guess.

Thanks a lot!

New Version of Flow 3D (V11.1) and again problems with reading the files... I hope there will be soon a solution from Tecplot.
