Many is on a distinguished road
Hi everyone,

I would like to create my own post processing tool for visualizations and computations of my CFD results. It will be great to create contours of flow variables, streamlines, make cutting planes and average calculations over them...It`s to say, I would like to try to create my "own simplified ParaView"

I don't know where to start. My results are provided via VTK files. Could anybody give me any reference/book/forum where this kind of topic is treated?

I use to work with Python for programming, but I am able to use C or Fortran too...

Any help will be much aprecciated. This is only an idea in my mind , I am not sure how difficult this task could be but I am not sure where to learn about something like this.

Regards,

Many
