Two postdoctoral positions are available for the implementation of OpenFOAM to 
investigate the hydrodynamic performance, wake and seabed scour of marine 
current turbine with particular focuses on the Straits of Malacca. The 
positions are funded by UM/MoHE High Impact Research (HIR) grant 
titled “Sustainable Ocean Energy and Waterway Development in the Straits of 
Malacca”.

The successful applicants should hold a PhD with relevant experiences in CFD 
and willingly to work in Kuala Lumpur up to the completion of the current 
project. The publication record is the main consideration for these positions.
