Industry Director – Chemicals/Power Generation/Health Care Tridiagonal Solutions (www.tridiagonal.us) is a company formed by experts from national laboratory and experienced Engineering professionals from the industry. It is committed to creating value by developing innovative engineering solutions with true understanding of industry requirements. Tridiagonal provides solutions and services for process engineering and modeling of complex flow using an integrated approach that includes CFD & DEM analysis, experimental testing and software development. The company is experiencing a large growth and in interested in hiring two Industry Directors to provide leadership in two of the following three industry segments – Chemicals, Power and Health Care. Scope of Position: This is a leadership role with responsibility to lead a group of engineers and grow Tridiagonal’s services in a specific industry segment in a profitable manner. The Industry Director is a visionary who is able to create short and long term road map for the industry team and provide leadership in sales, marketing, problem-solving, project management and relationship management. This position will report to Head of North American Operations - TSI Day to Day Responsibilities: • Functional Skills: Should possess strong interpersonal skills to mange internal and external clients for all project deliveries • Client Relationship Management: develop, strengthen and build to increase the customer interaction and take ownership off project deliveries. Point of contact for key customers. • Project Management: work closely with various departments of TSI and the India team to deliver projects in a timely manner. Maintain excellent working relationship with all staff and manage direct reports • Sales and Marketing: Project and strategize sales revenues. Partner with inside sales to generate new business. Define marketing programs and work with the marketing team to execute the marketing plan. • Delivery: focus on costs control, quality of projects and all over all service delivery for projects Skills: • Excellent problem solver with domain expertise in certain areas • Ability to Manage teams involved in technical/complex roles • High task orientation and ability to achieve goals in a respectable timeframe • Good communication, analytical skills with sound decision making abilities • Effective in relationship building ability with internal and external stakeholders • Ability to be hands-on and motivate and develop direct reports to take on new roles/challenges • Technical expertise in CFD will be an advantage • Key Customers/Account management responsibilities to drive operational success and development of the organization • Identifying/forecasting proactively for growth opportunities and develop strategies to control costs and improve operating profits Education and Experience: • Engineer with a masters or Ph.D. degree, strong technical skills and excellent relationship management skills • Experience of working in an MNC or mid-sized firm • At least 10 to 12 years of professional experience in the Consulting/Engineering Space and currently managing delivery operations |
