Software Developer-Mesh Generation


Position Summary:
 
The ANSYS Meshing team is looking for a software developer to help design and
develop cutting edge mesh generation applications. The successful candidate will
join an agile, fast paced international team that produces best in class mesh
generation software that supports the core product lines of ANSYS.
 
Essential Job Functions/Accountabilities:
 
The position will emphasize working on geometry tolerant unstructured meshing
algorithms to support the development of advanced meshing technologies for
complex geometries. Specific role and responsibilities will depend on background
and qualifications.
 
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
 
• A Bachelor or Masters degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Applied
Mathematics, or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience developing geometric algorithms and data structures in
industry, research, or academia
• Experience or knowledge of parallel programming and related data structures is
a plus.
• Proficiency in C programming. Experience in functional programming languages
such a lisp or scheme is a plus 
• Experience with agile and lean software development processes is also a plus.
